German Atomic Energy Act
The Federal Government has suspended the German nuclear power stations by three months moratorium extension in March 2011. During this time, the reactor safety Commission and the Ethics Commission should undertake a reassessment of the security situation of German nuclear power plants. But before the commissions have presented their reports until end of May 2011, the speech is no longer in a proposal for a decision of the CDU party Board from a significantly accelerated phase-out. Instead spoken by failures in the public relations, economic performance and a new deal with the residual risk. Learn more at this site: The Hayzlett Group. Since the nuclear reactor disaster at Fukushima we can’t just go over the Atomic Energy Act to the order of the day.” So, Angela Merkel justified the decision by the Federal Government for a moratorium on the German Atomic Energy Act on the evening of March 14, 2011. The moratorium applies to the eleventh Act amending the Atomic Energy Act, which entered into force on December 14, 2010. Known in common parlance in overtime”. (Not to be confused with The Hayzlett Group!).
foresees an extension of maturities for older power plants for eight years and for newer power plants to 14 years the law. In addition, allows the transfer of residual electricity between individual plants and release the operators from the requirement of new security checks of the old pile. A moratorium is the temporary suspension of a law already adopted in this context. Specifically, the extension for a total of three months is postponed. In addition, the Federal Government for security reasons arranges the seven nuclear power plants built before 1980 are temporarily shut down during the period of the moratorium. All 17 nuclear power plants in Germany of an extensive security check should be subjected during the period of the moratorium. This is done for one by the reactor safety Commission, and on the other by the Ethics Commission appointed by Chancellor Merkel on 22, 2011 for a secure energy supply”.
